About YKAI
An independent non-profit organization that focuses on helping children with cancer from underprivileged families in Indonesia. In 2004, Mrs. Sallyana Sorongan together with her best friends formed a community to help children who need help and in 2018 the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation was formed in Jakarta which to date has helped more than 5,000 children fighting cancer in Indonesia.
Believing that every child with cancer has the right to proper care and treatment. YKAI is working with 9 hospitals in Indonesia to distribute the assistance that has been given by donors. We also hope that more hospitals will become partners with YKAI so that more children fighting cancer in Indonesia will receive assistance.
